Please come to the Williams School Back to School picnic!  We invite you to bring dinner for your family to the Williams School field.  The kids can play and parents can meet other Williams families!  We hope to see you there!

The Williams School Directory goes ON-LINE!

You should have received an email from our new on-line directory to confirm your contact information.  Contact Robyn Phillips with any questions!

 

We are pleased to present the PTO budget and the proposed slate of the PTO executive board and chairs for the 2013-14 school year.  Please send your vote electronically to presidents@williamspto.org.  You are voting on two things, the budget and the slate.  You approve or do not approve of each.  We also welcome your questions and comments.

Similar to last year’s budget the largest portion of the PTO budget will be spent on Creative Arts and Sciences, classroom support, field trips and technology.   To view the full budget go to:

Newton Community Ed classes at Williams

Registration is now underway for fall classes through Newton Community Education. Coming up at Williams we have Chess on Mondays,  Actors Studio and Lego Engineering Jr. on Tuesdays, French and Advanced Lego Engineering & Robotics on Wednesdays, Fast Math and Spanish on Fridays.  We have many more weekday classes at schools throughout Newton, including Computer Animation , Fencing, Mad Science, Circuits and Motion, and the list goes on. We have many family classes, such as It’s Magic!, Glass Fusing, Family Night under the Stars, and more. We also have Saturday sports options for kids ages 2 and up, and weekday afternoon sports options such as Archery and Flag Football. Cub Scouts Pack in Auburndale & Waban for Boys in Grades 1-5
Does your 1st to 5th grader like to discover new things?  Take part in unique experiences?   For 80+ years, Cub Scouts have been having the time of their lives making new friends and learning new things in an environment designed to help them embrace challenges and celebrate achievements. Hiking, astronomy, wood crafts, derby car racing, museums, camping on a professional baseball field…definitely not the ordinary.
